Toyota was the chosen brand to carry out the first official crossing of the Maputo – Katembe bridge, a 3 km-long structure and one of the largest undertakings in Africa. 

The inauguration by the President of the Republic on November 10th, Maputo’s day, took place early in the morning with the arrival of former heads of State, ministers and vice ministers, parliamentarians and representatives of companies, which included the administration of Toyota of Mozambique represented by Jorge Caetano. 

With a convoy including the Land Cruiser 200, Prado, Fortuner, Rav4, Hilux, Corolla and Yaris, models, accompanied by the employees and the ambassador of Grupo Entreposto, Moreira Chonguiça, Toyota has left its mark on the new bridge on a memorable day for the municipality of Katembe and for those residing in the city of Maputo.

At the end of the day the ceremony for delivery of the certificates of the companies involved in the inauguration took place, in which Grupo Entreposto, through Toyota of Mozambique delivered a Toyota Fortuner vehicle to Maputo Sul, as a loan, to monitor the bridge.
